Editorial Policy
The students who use Pharmacy Freak are often preparing for exams that shape their careers, and rely on our material to understand medicines and clinical concepts. We take that responsibility seriously. This Editorial Policy explains how our content is created, sourced, reviewed, and maintained — so you can trust that what you read is accurate, current, and produced with genuine expertise.
1Who Creates Our Content
All Pharmacy Freak content is created and overseen by qualified professionals. The platform is led by its founder, G S Sachin, a Registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, and is supported by a core team and contributors that include a NIPER postgraduate with multiple national-level examination ranks and a practising MBBS, DNB physician.
Content within specialised areas is written and reviewed by contributors with relevant qualifications in that domain. You can learn more about the people behind our content on our Our Team page.
2How We Research and Source Our Content
Our material is built on established, authoritative sources rather than opinion or unverified information. Depending on the topic, our content draws on:
- Standard pharmacy and medical textbooks
- Recognised pharmacopoeias (such as the Indian Pharmacopoeia, USP and BP)
- Official examination patterns and syllabi (including GPAT, NIPER and NCLEX)
- Peer-reviewed scientific and medical journals
- Official clinical and regulatory guidelines
Where a topic depends on a specific guideline, syllabus, or standard, we work from the most relevant and current version available.
3Expert Review Before Publication
Accuracy is not left to chance.
Before content is published, it is reviewed by subject experts for correctness, clarity, and alignment with current standards. This pre-publication review is a core part of our process and applies across our notes, MCQs, mock tests, and study material. Content covering clinical or medical topics is reviewed with input from appropriately qualified medical or pharmacy professionals.
4Keeping Content Accurate and Up to Date
Pharmacy and medicine evolve, and examination patterns change. We periodically review and update our material to reflect current knowledge, revised guidelines, and updated exam patterns and syllabi. When meaningful changes are made to a page, the content is revised accordingly so that students are studying from material that remains relevant.
5Corrections and Feedback
Despite our review process, errors can occasionally occur. If you believe you have found a mistake in any of our content, we want to know. You can report it to us at contact@pharmacyfreak.com, and our team will review the concern and correct verified errors promptly. For more detail on how we handle this, please see our Corrections Policy.
6Editorial Independence
Our editorial decisions are made independently of commercial interests. Advertising and any paid placements are kept separate from our educational content and do not influence what we publish or how topics are covered. Where Pharmacy Freak offers paid or premium options — such as an ad-free experience — these never affect the accuracy, availability, or integrity of our editorial material.
7Educational Purpose
Pharmacy Freak’s content is intended for educational and examination-preparation purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and should not be used to make clinical decisions. Please refer to our Disclaimer for full details.
