Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IITI), established in 2009, is a prestigious institute of national importance recognized by the Government of India. As part of its ongoing research initiatives, IITI is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a project titled “Combating Pandemics through Textiles: An Approach to Ease Viral/Bacterial Infections using Advanced Nano Fibrous Fabrics” funded by NTTM-Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences/Forensic Science/Bio-Tech or relevant field from recognized Universities/Institutes, with CSIR/UGC-NET or valid GATE score.
- Age limit: 28 years on the date of application, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.
- Candidates with experience in nanomaterial synthesis, heterostructure fabrications, and characterizations will be given preference.
- Good communication skills are essential for the sponsored research project.
Fellowship and Duration: The JRF fellowship will follow funding agency norms and IITI institute policy. The appointment will be for one year initially, or the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
