National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (NICPR) invites eligible candidates for the position of Project Technical Officer. Below are the details:
Post: Project Technical Officer (01- UR)
Project Title: “Hands on Training in HPV- DNA Diagnostics” (DHR funded)
Principal Investigator: Dr. Showket Hussain, Scientist–E at ICMR-NICPR Sector 39, NOIDA
Duration: Initially for one year, extendable up to 5 years based on performance.
Monthly Consolidated Emolument: Rs. 32000/-
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Graduation in life sciences (Biotechnology/molecular biology/microbiology/bio-medical sciences/genetics/biochemistry or any other relevant subject) with 5 years of experience OR
- Master’s Degree in life sciences (Biotechnology/molecular biology/microbiology/bio-medical sciences/genetics/biochemistry or any other relevant subject).
- Desirable:
- Experience in molecular Biology and Microbiology.
- Experience in HPV DNA diagnostics.
- Preference for candidates qualified in national exams such as GATE/Net (JRF/LS) or equivalent.
- Interest in pursuing a Ph.D. program.
Age Limit: 30 years
Nature of Duties
- Assisting in HPV-DNA diagnostics.
- Assisting in the preparation of SOPs and imparting training related to HPV DNA diagnostic and molecular biology techniques.
- Any other work assigned by the Director/PI.
