Position: Junior Research Fellow
Project: National Tea Research Foundation (NTRF) Project – “Exploiting Defense Priming in Tea (Camellia Sinensis) for crop protection against major insect pests Tea mosquito bug (Helopeltis theivora) & Red spider mites (Oligonychus Coffeae) and diseases (Blister blight, Exobasidium vexans and grey blight, Pestalopsis theae) and metabolome-assisted identification of biomarkers for quality improvement”

Essential Qualifications
- First-class Post Graduate Degree in any branch of life sciences.
- Willingness to undertake field trips and sample collection from tea plantations in Munnar.
- Sufficient knowledge in one or more of the research areas like molecular biology, plant metabolite analysis, or gene expression studies.
Age Limit: Below 26 years as of May 15, 2024. Age relaxation as per Govt. of India norms.
Emolument: Rs. 20,000/- + 8% HRA per month.
