National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Raebareli (NIPER-R) is an Institute of National Importance, established under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. It focuses on imparting higher education and conducting advanced research in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology.
Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
- Project Title: Development and Evaluation of Novel Multi-Target Urolithin Analogues as Potential Neuroprotective Therapeutics for Ischemic Stroke
- Project Duration: 36 months
- Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Ravinder Kaundal, Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology
- Co-PI: Dr. Sandeep Chandrashekharappa, Department of Medicinal Chemistry
Qualifications
- Essential: First-class post-graduate (PG) degree (M.S. Pharm/M.Pharm/M.Sc/M.Tech) or equivalent with specialization in Pharmacology & Toxicology/Regulatory Toxicology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences. Alternatively, a second-class post-graduate degree with a Ph.D. in the aforementioned disciplines.
- Desirable: Ph.D. degree and/or significant experience in animal handling, Pharmacological drug screening using in vitro and in vivo models, neuroscience, histopathological techniques, and molecular biology methodologies.
Age Limit: 35 years as of May 15, 2024.
Salary: INR 56,000 per month + House Rental Allowances (HRA) as per ICMR norms.
