The Indian Air Force invites applications from MALE INDIAN / GORKHA CITIZENS from various states and union territories to join as Airmen in the Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant trade. The recruitment test will be conducted at Base Repair Depot, Air Force, Chandigarh. Here are the details:

- Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy
- Activities: Physical Fitness Test, Written Test, Adaptability Test – II & Medical Appointments
- Districts Covered: Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, J&K, Chandigarh, & Ladakh
Eligibility Criteria
- Unmarried candidates born between 02 January 2004 and 02 January 2008 (for candidates with 10+2 qualification)
- Unmarried candidates born between 02 January 2001 and 02 January 2006 (for candidates with Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy)
- Married candidates born between 02 January 2001 and 02 January 2004
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Passed two years of vocational Courses in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. For Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy, additional qualifications are required.
Domicile Requirement
- Candidates must satisfy domicile requirements based on their state or union territory of origin.
- Sons of serving Air Force personnel and sons of retired/deceased/discharged Air Force personnel are also eligible under certain conditions.
Mandatory Medical Standards
- Height: Minimum 152.5 cm
- Chest: Well proportioned with a minimum 5 cm range of expansion
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age
- Hearing: Normal hearing
- Dental: Good set of teeth with a minimum 14 dental points
- Visual Standards: Specific requirements apply
