Project: Genome-wide evaluation of host genetic variations that are associated with high risk for neonatal sepsis and sepsis-related mortality (Sepsis program)

Minimum Qualification and Experience
- PhD in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized University. OR
- M.Sc or equivalent degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized University with four years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
Desirable Qualification & Experience
Very strong wet lab research experience in bacteriology, microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and protein science.
- Capable of performing independent experiments with large clinical sample sets for genomic analyses, RT-PCRs, Nanostring analyses.
- Experience in conducting experiments with clinical isolates to determine their resistome patterns with novel tools and fluorescent-based assays.
- Proficiency in designing and independently performing different assays for the project.
- Strong experience in slide presentations, literature reviews, and discussions with collaborators and clinical teams.
- Strong work ethic and scientific report writing skills.
- Willingness to handle and work with small animals for research purposes.
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- + HRA

- The position is short-term and subject to satisfactory performance and project tenure.
- Educational qualifications must be from a recognized Board/University.
