The Nagaland Public Service Commission invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Pharmacist under the Health & Family Welfare Department. There are a total of 31 vacancies available.
Post: Pharmacist
1. Pharmacist (Grade II) under Health & Family Welfare Department
- No. of Posts: 06
- Reservation: 1 post each reserved for B.T. Pochury, Sumi (Kiphire), Yimchunger (Yimkhiung/Tikhir), and 3 posts reserved for B.T. Sangtam.
- Qualification: Degree/Diploma course in Pharmacy from a recognized University and registered in the State Pharmacy Council.
- Pay Matrix/Level: Level-8
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years; Maximum 30 years (as of 01-01-24)
2. Pharmacists under the Health & Family Welfare Department
- No. of Posts: 25
- Reservation: 15 posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland, 2 posts reserved for B.T. Chang, and 1 post each reserved for various tribes.
- Qualification: Degree/Diploma course in Pharmacy from a recognized University and registered in the State Pharmacy Council.
- Pay Matrix/Level: Level-8
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years; Maximum 30 years (as of 01-01-24)
Note
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
- 80% of the vacancies are reserved for candidates belonging to specific tribes.
- Candidates who have already applied for the post of Pharmacist may update their post preference through the NPSC portal.
- OTR (One Time Registration) will be active from 1st May 2024 to 5th May 2024.

Interested candidates are required to register for OTR and submit their applications through the NPSC portal. The last date for updating post preference is 07.05.2024.
