Position: Senior Project Associate (Post Code 02)
Essential Qualification
M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Science/Biochemical Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
- 4 years experience in Research & Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science & Technology Organizations.
OR - Doctoral Degree in Biological Sciences/Microbiology/Biochemical Engineering/Biotechnology from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification
- Experience in basic microbiology/biotechnology methods/fermentation & downstream processing of proteins/enzymology, etc. as evidenced by publications.
Upper age limit: 40 years
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- + HRA
Position: Project Associate-I (Post Code 01 and 03)
Essential Qualification
- M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Science/Biochemical Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification
- Experience in agricultural sciences/plant-microbe interaction/bioformulation-related work (for Post Code 01)
- Experience in basic microbiological methods, fermentation/process optimization, and scale-up (for Post Code 03)
Upper age limit: 35 years
Monthly Emoluments
- Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or similar
- Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others
Important Instructions
- The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the projects.
- The engagement shall initially be for one year, extendable based on performance review and project duration.
- Age will be reckoned as on the date of the Interview.
- Eligible candidates must submit the filled-up Google Form by 30th April 2024 (Tuesday) up to 5:00 PM.
- Only eligible candidates will be accessed for the viva voce on the date of the interview.
- Eligible/shortlisted candidates shall attend the interview online through video conference on MS Teams.
- In case of a large number of candidates, the Screening Committee may revisit the screening criteria.
- Candidates must convert CGPA/SGPA/OGPA Grades into equivalent percentages as per the approved formula of the University.
- Only candidates strictly fulfilling the eligibility criteria should apply.
- Upon selection, original documents will be verified; any discrepancy found will result in cancellation of selection.
