Gout is a kind of arthritis caused by the buildup of uric acid crystals in the joints.
It causes pain, swelling, and inflammation. Main goals of Gout medications are to reduce pain, inflammation, and the frequency of gout attacks, as well as to prevent long-term renal and joint damage.
