Board Certified Pediatric Pharmacy Specialist (BPS)
What is the BCPPS? The BCPPS credential demonstrates advanced expertise in neonatal, infant, child, and adolescent pharmacotherapy, including dosing, PK/PD, disease management, nutrition, and pediatric emergency care.

2. Eligibility Requirements
To sit for the exam, you must have a current, unrestricted pharmacist license and meet ONE of the following pathways:
Pathway A (Residency)
- PharmD Degree
- Completion of PGY-1 Residency AND
- PGY-2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency (ASHP-accredited)
Pathway B (Experience)
- PharmD or BPharm degree
- 4 Years of post-licensure practice experience.
- At least 50% of time must be spent in pediatric activities (NICU, PICU, Amb Care, etc.).
