Position Details
- Title: Field Monitor
- Location: Tamil Nadu
- Project: Diet and Biomarkers Survey in India
- Emoluments: Rs. 30,000 (Consolidated) per month
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years
- Employment Type: Contractual
- Duration: Initially 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements
Minimum Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Essential:
- Master’s degree in pharmacy, public health, life sciences, or related discipline with 1 year of experience in Research/Monitoring/Public Health projects.
- OR Graduate in the mentioned disciplines with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Desirable:
- Experience in Research/Monitoring/Public Health projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel) is desirable.
Professional Skills Required
- Understanding of monitoring activities and basic computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of clinical lab monitoring.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in local languages.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with field teams.
Job Profile
- Extensive travel is required in urban and rural areas of Tamil Nadu.
- Monitoring of a specified number of primary sampling units (PSU).
- Conducting site visits to monitor sample collection, processing, and packaging.
- Documenting monitoring observations and maintaining study documentation.
- Escalating major quality issues to the Associate Program Manager.
