Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BPS)

What is the BCOP? The Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) credential validates advanced knowledge in oncology therapeutics, hematology, chemotherapy, supportive care, and the pharmaceutical management of cancer patients.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To sit for the exam, you must have a current, unrestricted pharmacist license and meet ONE of the following pathways:

Pathway A (Residency)

  • PharmD Degree
  • PGY-1 Residency AND
  • PGY-2 Oncology Residency (ASHP-accredited)

Pathway B (Experience)

  • PharmD or BPharm degree
  • 4 Years of post-licensure practice experience with at least 50% of time spent in oncology pharmacy activities.
